Ich habe auf meinem Acer Travelmate 4002 WLMI Ubuntu Linux (Hoary) installiert und bin vollstens zufrieden! Das integrierte Wlan wurde schon bei der Installation erkannt und konnte problemlos konfiguriert werden. Hier noch weitere Details.

Ungelöste Probleme:
Die SmartBatterie läuft über ein SMBus, derzeit wird auf dieser Seite ( http://acpi.sourceforge.net/ ) an diesem Problem gearbeitet.
Beim Booten "Hotplug Subsystem" Fehler, gelöst siehe hier

I have installed Ubuntu Linux (Hoary) on my Acer Travelmate 4002 WLMI, there are no Problems! The integrated Wlan was detected on the Installation and works fine.
